Membership Processing Technician

This position is responsible for data entry of all membership data into NEA membership systems

POSITON TITLE:  Membership Processing Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for data entry of all membership data into NEA membership systems as well as identifying, researching, and resolving membership discrepancies between dues received and obligations reflected in the membership systems.

Responsible to make monthly correction in dues amount and new or cancelled members in the membership system.

Responsible to ensure that all membership records are accurate and systems are in sync. 

Communicate with local leaders, school finance personnel, NCAE staff and NEA staff to resolve membership discrepancies.

Communicate the Mission of NCAE to current and potential members

The Membership Processing Technician will also create reports as requested,

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum BS Business Administration or Accounting;  NCAE/NEA, or Related experience may be considered, in lieu of college education if all other qualifications/skills are met. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Aptitude for accuracy in calculation and entry of data; Analytical ability with an affinity to detail, as well as the capability to handle multiple assignments while working within rigid timeframes; Highly developed organization skills; Advanced computer literacy skills, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel; Ability to recognize and resolve recurring problems; good customer service skills; and available for in-state travel.  Understand teaming concept and willing to be an active member of the team.
